How does the rum tasting in Hamburg work?

We always start our evening with a rum-based drink and then explore the world of rum together. On a journey through the different styles of rum, you will learn all about the production of the sugar cane distillate, its history and its importance in legendary drinks.

We also mix you a final, exciting rum-based farewell cocktail to round things off.

Daiquiri or Old Fashioned - experience the exciting flavours of the hottest drinks.

Finger food in the form of bread, olives and crisps is available to satisfy the appetite and de-escalate between meals.

How long does the rum tasting in Hamburg last?

The duration of the tasting is approx. 2.5 hours, sometimes a little longer depending on the group dynamics

Which rum varieties are tasted?

We will be travelling through the Caribbean together, tasting representatives of the French, Spanish and British styles. We will taste a total of five exclusive rums.

How expensive is rum tasting in Hamburg?

The price for the rum tastings is €69 per participant. This includes five exciting rums from the New World. We will showcase the different styles of rum. In addition, an aperitif, a final rum cocktail and finger food.

Where does the rum tasting take place in Hamburg?

Our bar for the cocktail courses is the Klinker restaurant on Hoheluft Bridge. The location is just a 2-minute walk from the Hoheluftbrücke U3 underground station and is perfectly connected.

It may occasionally happen that our Tasting & Workshops take place at a different location. You will be informed of the exact location at the latest with the reminder email approx. 1 week before the tasting. All locations are in the centre of Hamburg.
